Below is the schedule of work we undertake during a Brompton service:

• Remove wheels, degrease drivetrain and clean main frame
• Clean chain tensioner
• Service hubs and rear freehub pawl mechanism
• Visual inspection of bike for damage
• Check rear hinge wear
• Check and lubricate main frame hinges
• Clean and grease hinge clamps
• Check bottom bracket for wear
• Check, adjust and tighten headset
• Check chainring bolts and crank bolts are correctly torqued
• Check pedals, remove and re grease pedal threads
• True wheels and check rims for wear
• Check and tighten headset
• Check mudguards and fittings
• Gear adjustment and service
• Brake adjustment and service
• Check and pump up tyres
• Tighten and torque all bolts
• Test ride bike
